Our Shalas
Age-Appropriate Learning Environments
The Global Guardians School has five distinct shalas (learning environments) for children and youth, each designed to meet their developmental needs and nurture their full potential.
Utsav Shala (Nursery, KG, UKG)
Learning joyfully in relationships. A program built upon the theme of FAMILY, where children celebrate and learn about the role of family in their life. In Utsav Shala, children develop a strong foundation of trust, love, and security through play-based learning and gentle guidance.
Key Focus Areas:
- Developing trust and security in relationships
- Sensory exploration and physical development
- Language acquisition and expression
- Creative play and imagination
- Basic understanding of natural phenomena
Sukh Shala (Grades 1 to 5)
Building a solid foundation of Coexistence. Children recognize the coexistence, themselves and all of their relationships in the world around them. In Sukh Shala, students develop a sense of happiness through understanding their place in the family, society, and nature.
Key Focus Areas:
- Foundational academic skills (literacy, numeracy, science)
- Understanding relationships in family and society
- Developing respect for all forms of life
- Practical life skills and self-reliance
- Creative expression through arts and crafts
Shanti Shala (Grades 6 – 8)
Deepening Reflection, Thoughtfulness & Engagement. Students reflect upon their thought, behavior and action in light of the larger purpose. In Shanti Shala, students develop inner peace through deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
Key Focus Areas:
- Advanced academic concepts across disciplines
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Understanding human values and ethics
- Environmental stewardship and sustainability
- Self-reflection and emotional regulation
Santosh Shala (Grades 9 – 12)
Inspiration, Leadership, Legacy. Students gain a clearer picture of reality and have a deeper assurance in the understanding process. In Santosh Shala, students develop contentment through meaningful engagement with society and preparation for their future roles.
Key Focus Areas:
- Specialized academic subjects aligned with interests
- Leadership development and social responsibility
- Research and independent study projects
- Career exploration and life planning
- Community service and social engagement
Anand Shala (Grades 13 – 14)
Inspiration, Leadership, Legacy. Students gain a clearer picture of reality and have a deeper assurance in the understanding process. In Santosh Shala, students develop contentment through meaningful engagement with society and preparation for their future roles.
